As you may remember, Dark Slayer I, the Night of the Nymphs, introduced the Dark Slayers and a world of many mystical creatures. From werewolves to satyrs to nymphs…this story was a very hot read. Before that, the Guardians of the Tri-Parenje brought forth the world of Panthera Shape Shifters. Dark Slayer II, The Staff of Airis, brings these two worlds together with Panthera shifters, werewolves, magi and wizards. And, in case you didn’t know…the Dark Slayer books will all be short stories, where the Guardians of the Tri-Parenje Saga will be a string of full length novels. The first Guardians book, a novella, is Shadows of Ecstasy and is available now. Please grab a copy of it and Dark Slayer: Night of the Nymphs to prepare for the coming short story of The Staff of Airis. Just so you know…these three books can be stand alones. Most of the DS books will be, as well. But, the future Guardians novels will need to be read in order to understand the big picture.

Now, on to Dark Slayer II: The Staff of Airis…

Noah Bishop and Adrian Noble are part of an elite team of protectors for the Royals of the Realm in the Panthera world of shifters. Their current assignment? Apprehend a man who assaulted one of the females of their pride. Two women come into the picture and throw them both for a loop. They are their life mates. With these two women, they get into something more sinister than just assault charges.   In the world of Panthera Shape Shifters, you have the Guardians of the Tajna…the secret of their world; the Guardians of the Tri-Parenje…the ‘Tri-Par’ is two male Panthera shifters mated with a human female.  Once mated, they are the most powerful of the Panthera warriors. One, a Panthera Shifter, proves to be more than capable of taking care of herself, while the other, a human, seems to be a constant damsel in distress. Caitlin Farrell, a beautiful red head with a killer instinct and a killer body, is the shifter and a Dark Slayer, as well. She has a secret that the evilest of creatures is after. The Staff of Airis. It is a powerful weapon that, if in the wrong hands, could bring an end to the world as all creatures know it…including humans. Caitlin is the guardian of the staff and the two Noblemen and the other Dark Slayers must protect her at all cost. As if that weren’t enough…the human woman, Julie Augustine, also has a secret. She has the power of true sight. She can see the future in her dreams and she can also read minds. She holds the key to finding the only man who can take true control of the staff. A powerful wizard…Airis, himself. The trouble is…Airis is in the midst of his century slumber and is very irritable if awakened too soon.  The price for his rude awakening is death.  Unless he agrees to an indecent proposition from those who awaken him. To add to flames to the fire, Noah and Adrian, both, believe they have found their ženas…their life mates…in these two beautiful women.
